Seattle Lynnwood|Sam Oh Jung Korean Food – Incredibly Satisfying
📍 17425 Hwy 99 #A, Lynnwood, WA 98037 This place is open daily 🕑 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. I wanted to explore more Korean restaurants in Lynnwood and this one totally exceeded my expectations — so delicious! If you're craving Korean food in the cold Seattle winter, give this spot a try! It's not too crowded, so no long waits even at night (unlike some other places cough Doo cough). ✨ What We Ordered: 🍲 Potato Pork Bone Soup (Gamjatang) – $34.99 Served piping hot and bubbling in the pot. The broth was rich and flavorful, though the pork bones weren’t super tender — might be even better reheated at home for a softer texture. The potatoes and vegetables were perfectly cooked and delicious. 🍜 Cold Noodles (Chick Cold Noodle) – $16.99 Not sure why I wanted cold sweet noodles on a chilly day, but here we were! The noodles (I think buckwheat) were served icy cold. I didn’t catch what the server said, so we skipped the spice. The broth was refreshing and standard, topped with half a boiled egg and cucumber strips — a fun “hot and cold” combo with the soup! 🦑 Spicy Stir-Fried Squid – $19.99 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED — I wish I knew the recipe!! This dish is a perfect rice companion. The squid was tender and chewy, stir-fried in a spicy sauce that was addictive and satisfying with every bite. I ate a whole bowl of rice with it and couldn’t stop! Even reheated at home, it was still amazing. 💡 Tips: ✔️The restaurant has a cozy, warm Korean vibe. When we went, it wasn’t busy, and the Korean aunties working there were super friendly and attentive. ✔️The banchan (side dishes) were thoughtful, different from the usual, and really tasty. ✔️Portions are generous — great for sharing if you come with a group and want to try more dishes! #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattleguide#Seattlefood#fooddiary
