Seattle New Spot | Peruvian Ceviche Perfect for Asian Palates š£
š They also have a location in San Francisco, and Iāve always wanted to try their ceviche. Since I couldnāt make it to San Francisco, I was thrilled to find a new branch in Bellevue! It was so convenient, and I just had to stop by and check it out. š If youāre a fan of sashimi, youāll definitely love this place. The tangy and refreshing flavors are so fresh and appetizing. š The Cebiche Tasting includes ceviche in three different flavorsātuna and two types of halibut. The portions are quite generous, and each flavor is amazing, with a bit of spice and a predominant tangy kick. š The sea urchin scallop special is incredibly sweet and aromaticāsuch a delightful treat for the taste buds. š The Tiraditos, which are thinly sliced raw fish, are similar in flavor to the ceviche, with a tangy taste. Itās a bit redundant to order this after the ceviche, but itās still delicious on its own. š The seafood fried rice is pretty good too, with a texture similar to pilaf and plenty of seafood mixed in. The downside is that the place is incredibly noisy. Itās so loud that we couldnāt even have a conversation; shouting wouldnāt help. Itās louder than a Guangdong teahouse packed with uncles and aunts. Definitely not a place for dates or romantic diningābetter for just eating in silence while scrolling through your phone. š Also, being a new establishment, the service could use some improvement. The average cost per person is around $120, excluding drinks. Lately, Iāve been really into Peruvian restaurants. Limon in the Bay Area is also great. While their ceviche isnāt as outstanding as La Marās, the other dishes are more delicious and offer better value for money. If youāre tired of Japanese-style sashimi, trying Peruvian cuisine is a fantastic alternative. Itās truly a treat for sashimi lovers. š La Mar Cevicheria Peruana #food #NorthAmericanLife #BayAreaFood #SeattleFood #PeruvianCuisine #Sashimi #Ceviche #SanFranciscoFood #SeafoodRestaurant #GlobalFoodie #HiddenGems #FoodArtists #FoodieVibes #SeattleLife #SanFrancisco
