Seattle Restaurant Exploration | Japonessa Sushi Cocina
Visited this Japanese restaurant last weekend and it was surprisingly good. Ordered four dishes and didn’t hit a single dud, pretty impressive! They have a lot of happy hour options, but happy hour doesn’t compromise the quality of the food, just a bit more rice, but it’s forgivable since it’s happy hour 😅 🌶️ Spicy seafood ramen The seafood included shrimp 🦐, baby octopus, clams, and squid. A little spicy, the broth was clear and fresh, absolutely delicious! The noodles were also great. In short, this bowl of ramen was flawless, just perfect! 🍗 Chicken karrage For some reason, I was craving fried chicken, so I randomly ordered this. The chicken was so tender and juicy, you could see the juiciness, very flavorful and not greasy at all. Highly recommended! 🔥 Super bad boy Just a hint of spice, delicious, delicious, delicious. What more can I say? The fried food wasn’t greasy at all, and there was a generous amount of avocado, very fragrant. 🐉 Ultimate dragon This was probably the best of the bunch, loads of eel and packed with flavor, amazing! It’s unforgettable, definitely ordering this again next time. 🍣 Omakase Salmon sample They offer different price points for omakase. Personally, I find other fish can be a hit or miss, not to my taste, so I just went with the salmon. The salmon sashimi was very fresh, highly recommended for those who can’t eat too much sashimi. In conclusion, I really like this sushi restaurant; it’s a place I can see myself coming back to often. #SeattleRestaurantExploration #SeattleEats #SeattleFood #SeattleSushi #SeattleJapaneseCuisine #JapaneseDining
