Seattle Restaurant Week is in full swing, and I decided to join the fun at Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong in Lynnwood! 🎉 Yelp reservations were pretty manageable — otherwise, be prepared to wait up to an hour! ⏳ For SRW, they're offering "Hodong’s Favorite Combo" which includes: Beef Brisket 🐄 Boneless Short Rib 🥩 Pork Belly 🐖 Marinated Pork Steak 🍖 The regular price is $76, but during SRW it's $70 — only a $6 discount. Not exactly a game-changer in terms of value. 💸 🌟 The Beef Shines 🌟 Beef Brisket: A classic Korean BBQ starter — well-marbled, tender, and perfect with soy-onion dip 🧅 Boneless Short Rib: The star of the show! Thick, juicy, and full of flavor — especially when grilled until slightly charred. Pair it with the cheesy corn — pure bliss! 🌽🧀 🐷 The Pork: A Mixed Bag Pork Belly: Juicy and rich right off the grill — delicious but can get heavy after a few pieces 😅 Marinated Pork Steak: The letdown of the set 🚫 — overly sweet sauce, low-quality meat, and heavy seasoning that overpowers the natural flavor. 🥗 Side Dishes & Service The banchan (kimchi, radish, onion, cucumber) were just okay — nothing memorable. The cheesy corn was delightful when melted, and the steamed egg was fine but easy to overcook. Service was solid — staff helped grill, cut, and flip the meat.
