The service was so bad. This one female waiter kept telling is the amount of food we were ordering was too much for us. Who are you to tell my table and I how much we can or can’t eat. It’s literally AYCE. Look up the dang definition. If my table didn’t finish what we ordered we would just pay the $15 per plate or whatever it is, not a big deal. But don’t come telling me that what we ordered was too much. We were a table of 5. You want us to order itty bitty amounts??? You don’t know our appetites, don’t control what we can or cannot eat. That’s not how a restaurant works. We order what we want however much we want. You’re not the one paying for my bill. You don’t know me or my table of guests, never met us, so how do YOU know how much is too much. Educate yourself before speaking. It was so rude and she had no manners. Their management need to educate their staff on how to speak to customers. Will never go back based on this first time experience. It was awful, rude and disrespectful. There are many other KBBQ restaurants in the city with much much better service and food that I would rather give my money to in...

I heard folks praise Baekjeong since it opened. After dining here tonight, I finally understand what all that rave was about with this restaurant.

The dining experience was a superb one for us which had 6 adults and one baby. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The staff here were approachable and very attentive. The interior design truly embodied a high end bbq restaurant with a warm and cozy feel inside. It was so cozy that our baby slept all the way through our dining experience.

Most importantly, the food was exceptional. The quality of everything we were served tonight was excellent. The marbling on the beef and pork were beyond phenomenal. I have not experienced this type of quality here in Calgary EVER. This place is hands down the best Korean BBQ restaurant in Alberta. The authenticity of the quality of the meal was in par with a high end bbq restaurant in Korea.

I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a go. The portion size and the quality of the ingredients here is well worth the price. You definitely get way more than what you’re paying for here. I will be...

This rating is for their combo for 2 menu, since I know they have AYCE now, but I wanted to give a review specifically for the combo for 2 because it was just that good! I absolutely love it every time I visit Baekjeong, It’s so well balanced with the different meats and sides and soup that they give, the service is always so tentative and it really helps that they have the call button, and overall it’s a restaurant I will always come back to for a special occasion. The place is always so clean and I have never once had a bad experience here.

I have tried their AYCE as well and thought it was also great! So much to select from and they have so much variety in terms of the meat. I love KBBQs that focus on the quality of the meat and Baekjeong never disappoints. Everything was perfectly marinated. It’s on the pricier side of AYCE in Calgary, but I would say it’s worth going once in a while to treat yourself, as well as the...
