Seattle Sushi | ShoMon Kappo Sushi š£ A Solid Pick for Fresh Eats!
Last Thanksgiving, I headed back to Seattle, and my friend treated me to this sushi spotāShoMon Kappo Sushi š„°! It seems like it hasnāt been open for too long, but it totally exceeded my expectations. Iāve always thought Seattleās Japanese food is way better than Bostonās š¤¤āthis meal just confirmed that again! First off, the ambiance is super nice šŖācozy and sleek, perfect for catching up with friends. The ingredient freshness is top-tier šāespecially the Chu-Toro, which was so fatty and buttery, it melted in my mouth with every bite š! Honestly, none of the dishes we ordered were missesāeverything tasted delicious, no food fails here ā . The only tiny downside was that the pace felt a little rushed ā©. Maybe itās because my friend and I hadnāt seen each other in ages, so we were chatting nonstop and eating at a slower pace. Every time I put my bowl down, the server would come over to clear it right away, which made us feel a bit hurried š . It wasnāt a big issue, but it took away a little from the relaxed dining vibe. The portion sizes were just right for me š„¢. I have a normal appetite, and by the end of the meal, I was perfectly fullāsatisfied but not stuffed to the gills. If I lived in Seattle permanently, this would definitely be a spot Iād come back to regularly š«¶! #JapaneseCuisine #Sushi #Seattle #SeattleEats #Omakase #SeattleLife #SeattleFoodie #SushiLovers #ThanksgivingEats #CatchUpWithFriends
