Seattle Sushi | ShoMon Kappo Sushi šŸ£ A Solid Pick for Fresh Eats!

Last Thanksgiving, I headed back to Seattle, and my friend treated me to this sushi spot—ShoMon Kappo Sushi 🄰! It seems like it hasn’t been open for too long, but it totally exceeded my expectations. I’ve always thought Seattle’s Japanese food is way better than Boston’s šŸ¤¤ā€”this meal just confirmed that again! First off, the ambiance is super nice šŸŖ‘ā€”cozy and sleek, perfect for catching up with friends. The ingredient freshness is top-tier šŸŒŸā€”especially the Chu-Toro, which was so fatty and buttery, it melted in my mouth with every bite šŸ˜‹! Honestly, none of the dishes we ordered were misses—everything tasted delicious, no food fails here āœ…. The only tiny downside was that the pace felt a little rushed ā©. Maybe it’s because my friend and I hadn’t seen each other in ages, so we were chatting nonstop and eating at a slower pace. Every time I put my bowl down, the server would come over to clear it right away, which made us feel a bit hurried šŸ˜…. It wasn’t a big issue, but it took away a little from the relaxed dining vibe. The portion sizes were just right for me 🄢. I have a normal appetite, and by the end of the meal, I was perfectly full—satisfied but not stuffed to the gills. If I lived in Seattle permanently, this would definitely be a spot I’d come back to regularly 🫶! #JapaneseCuisine #Sushi #Seattle #SeattleEats #Omakase #SeattleLife #SeattleFoodie #SushiLovers #ThanksgivingEats #CatchUpWithFriends
