Seattle Thai Desserts | Warm Black Sticky Rice Pudding 🥣
Last time I went for Hainan chicken rice, and this weekend, unsure of what to eat, I thought of this place again, wanting to try the mango sticky rice. When I arrived, I found out mangoes were out of season, so I chose two other desserts. The taro black sticky rice with coconut milk felt nice; a bowl of this on a gloomy, rainy day is very comforting. 🥣 Warmed Black Sticky Rice with Taro The hot sticky rice pudding is topped with taro, accompanied by coconut shavings and coconut milk. It’s perfect for gloomy weather, though it doesn’t quite feel like a dessert. One serving is quite filling. 🍰 Pandan Crepe Cake Fresh Cream Young Coconut This is the chef’s special recommendation for the month, not on the menu. I asked the staff and they strongly recommended it, so I gave it a try. It has a distinct Southeast Asian flavor and isn’t too sweet. 🍗 Lemongrass Chicken Wings Also a chef’s recommended dish, with seven pieces in total. The first bite might feel a bit too sweet, but it’s better inside. 📍 Aroy Mak Thai Food #SeattleLife #HeartwarmingPorridge #Seattle #TreasureRestaurantShare #SeattleThaiCuisine #SeattleFood #SeattleWeekend #UW
