Seattle Western Cuisine Lakeview Seafood Joint - The White Swan 🦢
The White Swan Public House Nobody’s promoting this place online, so let me write a post about it. It’s right next to Seattle I love sushi, nestled against Lake Union. Their terrace (covered and heated in winter) is lakefront. On weekends with good weather, you can sit on the patio and watch the water activities and sailing on the lake, or enjoy the night view with a drink in the evening. 🌅🍷 They have happy hour from 3-5 on weekdays, perfect for friends working nearby to give it a try, with large tables suitable for team dinners. 🥳 Oyster 🐚 We ordered a dozen, with three local varieties. The server recommended starting with the saltiest one, and sure enough, they got sweeter with each bite. 🤤 Seared Giant East Coast Scallops 🦐 Although there were only three scallops, which felt a bit like cheating, the Mexican seasoning was overall very good. It came with a nutty mole poblano sauce, red bean and corn tortillas, and pumpkin seed salsa, offering a rich and interesting texture. 🌶️🥑 Seafood Stew 🍲 A hearty seafood stew with a generous amount of clams, mussels, shrimp, and fish. The focaccia could be more chewy, but it was still good dipped in the tomato seafood broth. 🍅 Smoked Salmon Salad 🥗 A large bowl of salad with a substantial amount of smoked salmon, not too salty. The radish with lemon vinegar was very refreshing. But it’s just a salad, not particularly dazzling. 🥬 #Seattle #SeattleSurroundings #SeattleFoodExploration #SeattleLife #SeattleFood #SeattleWeekend #SeattleDaily #SeattleDelicious #SeattleDelicious #Seattle #SeattleWesternCuisine
