Seattle with Kids: Northwest Trek Wildlife Park

I had passed by it on the way to Mount Rainier before, and then I saw that Blippi (a kids’ internet celebrity) had an episode about this park, so I thought we had to check it out at some point. 😊 It’s about 1.5 to 2 hours away from Seattle. The park’s highlight is that it has a walking area (similar to the Seattle Zoo) and a section where you can take a tour on a vehicle to see wildlife. 🦌 There are three ways to experience the park: 1️⃣ General Admission: Buy a regular entry ticket and take the free tram tours within the park to see the wildlife area. It lasts about 40 minutes. The staff at the entrance will assign you a tram time, but the exact time is nou sure. 🚋 2️⃣ Wild Drive Tour: Drive your own car through the wildlife area. It costs $110 per car (including admission to the walking area), can fit 8 people, and lasts about 1 hour. You need to book online in advance. A group consists of about 15 cars, with a guide leading at the front. Tune your radio to the channel they specify for the commentary. 🚗 3️⃣ Keepers Tours: This is the cool little car from Blippi’s video. It costs $110 per person, and kids aged 5 and above can participate. 🚙 In the end, my kid loved the Kids’ Trek (the playground in the park) the most. It’s indeed very well-made, so guys, don’t miss it! 🎢 #SeattleWithKids
