Seattle with Kids | Free Botanical and Zoological Garden: Flower World

Discovered a magical place for kids in the Seattle area on the weekend: Not only can you feed lots of little animals for free, but you can also visit and buy a variety of flowers and plants! It’s less than a 30-minute drive from Redmond and just a 15-minute trip from Bothell. The area for feeding the animals and the place to see the plants are just across the street from each other, with a trail that takes about four to five minutes to walk. 🐑 The animal feeding area is run by the produce market where they raise the animals themselves. There’s no admission fee, and you don’t need to buy any produce to access the animal feeding. They have a variety of small animals: chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, alpacas, and peacocks! Of course, you can also buy fresh, organic meat and eggs at the store next door. We picked up a box of chicken eggs and a box of duck eggs. 🌸 The botanical garden is a plant nursery, a place that sells all kinds of plants and flowers. It’s said to be the largest nursery in Seattle. 🅿️ Parking: Both places have ample free parking with many empty spots. You can park at the Maltby Produce Market to feed the animals and then walk over to Flower World to visit the plants. #GreatPlaceForKids #AnimalsAtTheZoo #RecommendAPlace #SeattleDaily #SeattleSurroundings #SeattleWeekend #SeattleWithKids #WeekendWithKids #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend
