Second Visit to Dallas Thai Restaurant - Too Thai
This time, I ordered the pig’s trotter rice that everyone recommends, but... I was really disappointed. The pig’s trotter was quite bland and lacked flavor—it just didn’t taste good. The combination of garlic🧄 and vinegar as a condiment was a bit strange to me and didn’t really suit my taste.🤷♀️ But the Pad Thai was a pleasant surprise!🔥🔥 It was stir - fried to perfection, with a strong wok - hei (stir - fried aroma), and the seasoning was just right—salty and savory. I couldn’t stop eating it!🤤 The fried chicken skin deserves a big shout - out!💥 It was super crispy, tender on the inside, and had a flavor similar to pork cracklings. It wasn’t greasy at all.👏 The sweet - and - spicy sauce that came with it was amazing—definitely homemade, not like the industrial - tasting stuff you get in supermarkets. It had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, making it a great dipping sauce for anything!🌶️🍯✨ Too Thai definitely knows how to fry things well! However, I really didn’t get the hype about the pig’s trotter rice. With so many recommendations, I thought it would be amazing, but it was just too plain for my taste. Maybe I just have a preference for stronger flavors.😅 👀🌶️🥙🥢If you haven’t tried their beef salad🥗, you definitely should. It’s incredibly delicious and will satisfy both meat - lovers and vegetarians. It’s a sweet - and - spicy dish. Any other recommendations?👀 💎🍽️💃#Dallas #DallasLife #DallasFood #ThaiCuisine #FoodieCheck - in #StudentEats
