Sedona, AZ | A Hiker’s Paradise 🥾🏜️
Sedona is one of my favorite places in the U.S. Its unique red rock landscapes are absolutely stunning 🌄. Compared to Phoenix’s extreme heat, Sedona has cooler temperatures and larger day-night temperature swings, making it much more comfortable for outdoor activities. It’s just a 2-hour drive from Phoenix. 📍 Devil’s Bridge Hike ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A natural stone bridge and a super photogenic spot! 📸 The trail is relatively easy and takes about 2 hours round trip. 📍 Boynton Canyon Trailhead (Subway Cave) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Be sure to ask for directions—the signs aren’t very clear and it’s easy to get lost 🧭. The final climb to the cave is slippery, so hiking shoes are highly recommended. I wore regular sneakers and kept sliding—I was so scared I might slip and bump into other hikers 😅. But making it to the top was incredibly rewarding! The view was absolutely worth it. 📍 Airport Mesa ⭐⭐⭐ A nice spot to watch the sunset 🌇. 📍 Cathedral Rock ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for both sunrise and sunset! 🌅 This trail is short but thrilling—it takes about an hour, with some sections requiring hands and feet to climb 🧗. Hiking shoes are a must! Once at the top, you’ll be blown away by the breathtaking panoramic views. Being surrounded by nature and feeling time slow down…I’ll definitely be back! ❤️ 📍 Chapel of the Holy Cross ⭐⭐⭐ A church built into the cliffs ⛪, just a 10-minute drive from downtown. #Sedona #Arizona #HikingAdventure #TravelUSA #SedonaTravel
