Should You Visit Aswan on Your Egypt Trip? 🤔

Aswan is often a tricky destination for travelers — especially if you have less than 10 days. It’s far from Cairo, and some wonder if it’s worth the journey. So… is it? Must-Sees in Aswan 🌟: 🏛️ Abu Simbel Temple The star attraction! 99% of visitors come to Aswan for this. Absolutely stunning and totally different from other Egyptian temples. ⭐ Highly recommended! 🚗 By private car: 2000–3000 EGP (most comfortable for the 4-hour drive) 🚌 By bus: 150 EGP one way 🚐 Avoid minibuses if possible (200 EGP, very uncomfortable) ⏳ Spend 1–1.5 hours here. It looks grand but is smaller than Karnak or Luxor temples. ⛵ Nile Felucca Sunset Sail Another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience! The Nile is at its most beautiful here. Better and cheaper than in Luxor! 💰 200–300 EGP per boat (depending on your bargaining skills) 🌅 Depart near KFC — negotiate and hop on! Absolutely breathtaking — beyond words. Other Attractions: Nubian Village: Mixed reviews. I wanted to go but skipped due to time. Philae Temple: Skip it — Luxor’s temples are far better. Unfinished Obelisk: Not worth it. Feryal Garden (jardins feryal): Nice overlook of the Nile at sunset. Elephantine Island: Dirty but colorful. Not a must-see unless you stay overnight. 🏨 Kana Kato Hotel is great — Nile views, nice breakfast, ~100 RMB per person. 😔 Big regret: Not taking the Nile cruise to Luxor. Yes, the boats are old, but it’s arguably the cheapest cruise in the world! 😂 Final Verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you have time, GO! Aswan is totally worth it. Don’t miss it! 🚀💥 #Egypt #EgyptTravel #Aswan #AbuSimbel #NileCruise #TravelAdvice #SeeItYourself 🌍✈️
