Sicilian Cave Michelin Two-Star ⭐️⭐️
The semester is over, and I’m traveling in Italy! 🇮🇹✨ First stop: Ragusa, Sicily. 🌿 I’m staying at the hotel affiliated with the restaurant, Locanda Don Serafino Hotel—highly recommend! Walking in feels like entering a mystical cave ✨, yet it’s super cozy, and the staff are unbelievably warm . Since we arrived at night 🌙 and the mountain roads are tricky 🚗, we booked the restaurant in advance. Though run by the hotel, it’s 6 km away—must be stunning by day , but at night… a bit chilly . We ordered the Spring Tasting Menu (4 courses), but since we wanted more, photos 2, 4, & 5 were extras . Photo 1 🥣: Pistachio soup—so unique! Rich, nutty, delicious. Photo 2 🥩: Medium-rare beef—melt-in-your-mouth perfection . Photo 3 🕊️: Pigeon—OMG, the star! Tender, juicy, with the most divine sauce . (Yes, Michelin loves pigeon, but this one? Next level.) Photos 4 & 5 🍝: Yummy carbs—because balance is key . Total: €360 💶 (not bad for a Michelin 2-star!). Dinner at 10 PM?! 🕙 Italy’s schedule is wild. We only had 4 courses—the table next to us had NINE… midnight feast? That’s all for now—off to the next adventure! #Michelin #Italy #Sicily #Ragusa #FoodieHeaven
