Since you're already in Australia, why not visit the capital Canberra

Just 3 hours from Sydney, spend two days and one night experiencing Canberra's unique rhythm. The sky here is incredibly blue – that deep, clear blue – and the city is so quiet and spacious. It’s rare to see a capital city with so much open space and so few people. What’s even better is that most attractions are free and don’t require bookings, making it perfect for a spontaneous trip!☺️ 🛶 Lake Burley Griffin Watching the sunset here is peaceful and healing – instantly makes you forget life’s worries. 🏛️ Old & New Parliament Houses Step into simulated government office scenes from the 80s and 90s. Realistic background sounds – ringing phones, typewriters – make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. You can even see employees’ work gear (tennis rackets, sneakers, etc.) – a true model of work-life balance that leaves visitors envious 😭✨ 🖼️ National Gallery of Australia – Within Without A dreamy, photogenic world of pink and blue light reflections. Free entry and super Instagrammable!🎉 🍂 Best Seasons to Visit: Autumn (March-May) Perfect weather (6°C-26°C) – warm days, cool nights April = autumn foliage 🍁 Griffins Lake & Commonwealth Park turn red and gold March: Canberra Balloon Spectacular – colourful hot air balloons fill the sky 🎈 Spring (September-November) Pleasant temps (5°C-25°C), sunny days ideal for outdoors Sept-Oct: Floriade Flower Festival – Southern Hemisphere’s largest tulip display 🌷 🏨 Accommodation: Great value! We stayed at Hotel Realm with indoor pool, sauna, and spa – just $200/night! In other parts of Australia, that price might only get you a basic cabin. 🍜 Food: Canberra Centre has plenty of options. I had a warming bowl of Lanzhou beef noodles for just over $10 – affordable and delicious! Canberra, I’ll be back! 💛 #SydneyWeekend #Canberra #ThingsToDoInSydney #CanberraAttractions #CanberraAccommodation
