So… What to Eat Tomorrow? | Madison · Tibetan Cuisine

Sharing a relatively new Chinese-Tibetan restaurant in Madison that I’ve already been to multiple times! 🏔️ 🛒 It’s right next to Woodman's—where they sell delicious glass-bottled milk 🥛! But there’s a $2 bottle deposit, so you have to return the empty bottle before buying a new one. ⛽️ Woodman's also has cheap gas, so… That’s how our routine goes: return bottle → buy milk → maybe get gas → and then enjoy a meal at this Tibetan spot. ✅ Overall, the flavors are very authentic and really close to what you’d find back in China. 🇨🇳✨ Their cold skin noodles (liangpi) are only available on weekends—highly recommend the yellow version over the white one! 🟡 The stir-fried lamb is also flavorful and a regular order for me. They also serve Tibetan-style noodles and steamed dumplings 🥟—all names on the menu are direct translations from Tibetan, so you kinda have to guess based on the ingredients listed. Eating these always brings back memories of my travels through Northwest China… 🏜️ 📍 Tibet Kitchen #TibetanFood #DiscoverChineseCuisine #FoodDiary #InternationalStudentEats #MadisonWI #MadisonFood
