🍕 So… What to Eat Tomorrow? | Madison Italian Pizza Alert! 🇮🇹

If you’re around Madison and craving some legit Italian pizza, I’ve got a spot for you! We checked out Grampa’s Pizzeria located on Williamson Street – a cozy little place known for its thin-crust pies. We ended up sitting outside (the only option that night 😅), and though it was a bit chilly, the food still hit the spot! 📍 Grampa’s Pizzeria Where? Williamson Street – the foodie strip! Atmosphere? Small, intimate, better for small groups. Try to sit inside if you can! 🧀 Starter: Beef Carpaccio We originally wanted the homemade mozzarella platter, but it was sold out (sad face 😢). So we went with the Beef Carpaccio instead – and no regrets! It came with thinly sliced raw beef, arugula, cheese, and olives. Light, fresh, and flavorful! 🍕 The Pizzas! Their pizzas are baked in an electric oven (not wood-fired… I know, I know – a little less “soul” 😔), but the crust is thin and crispy – just the way I like it! We ordered two: 1️⃣ Finnocchio – Red sauce based with fennel sausage, mozzarella, and chili oil. Classic and tasty! 2️⃣ Goomba + Pork Confit – White sauce with roasted garlic, confit pork, mozzarella, and rosemary. 🧄🐖 This one was MY FAVE – creamy, savory, so good! If you’re into lighter, crispier crusts and creative toppings – this is your place. ⭐ Final Thoughts: A solid Madison pizza joint – perfect for a casual night. Maybe not the most romantic setting when it’s cold outside, but the pizza makes up for it! I’d go back for the Goomba and maybe finally try that mozzarella platter… #MadisonEats #PizzaLover #ItalianFood #UWMadison #FoodRecs #ThinCrustPizza #WilliamsonStreet
