😍 Soaking in the Joy of Eating Braised Pork Knuckle Hotpot in Boston!

Can’t get enough of it—【Cubist Circle · Brookline】These three new dishes are absolutely delicious! Pure Shandong-style flavors. Seems like they’ve fully committed to Lu Cuisine and stepped away from Sichuan R&D. 🍢 The fried skewers are SO GOOD!! I’ve missed them since 88 closed 🙏🏻 Compared to others, Cubist Circle’s version is cleaner and more flavorful—more Northern style? The sauce isn’t too heavy, more dry and aromatic. The owner said it’s inspired by the Qingdao-style skewers he ate as a kid. Since skewering is too much work, they serve it all in one bowl 😅 I’d estimate there’s at least 4-5 skewers worth of chicken, 2-3 pieces of tofu skin, and 2-3 portions of cabbage. At $12, it suddenly feels like a great deal! 🍖 Braised Pork Knuckle in Soy Sauce – incredibly fragrant! Tastes like it’s seasoned with stir-fried chicken spices—rich, savory, and perfectly cleaned. Zero greasiness, just pure collagen goodness. The glass noodles soaked up all the flavor too! 🍆 Shrimp-Stuffed Eggplant in Yu Xiang Sauce – whole shrimp inside! Best eaten while hot and crispy. The meat filling is just enough—not too heavy, but seriously rice-worthy 🍚😋 ⚠️ As always, their portions are HUGE… Two of us wanted to try everything, but we couldn’t finish a single dish. Had to pack everything up—enough for 1-2 more meals! Recommend coming with more people or taking leftovers home to remix! #BostonEats #FriedSkewers #PorkKnucklePot #StuffedEggplant #BostonLife #HiddenGem #FoodReview #LocalEats #MustTry 🥢🔥📦
