Solar Eclipse | 4-Day, 3-Night Travel Guide to Dallas
π¨ Accommodation We chose an Airbnb downtown, which is convenient for visiting attractions. However, there are really too many homeless people downtown. If you have a car, it's recommended to choose a safer area. βοΈ Solar Eclipse On April 8th, we took a red-eye flight and went straight to Klyde Warren Park with our luggage. There were bands and hosts on site, and it's said that 13,000 people were in the park that day. Travel Itinerary πDay 1 β Dallas Downtown Klyde Warren Park -> Giant Eyeball -> Thanksgiving Square -> JFK Memorial Square Each place can be visited in a check-in style, all within a 10-minute walk. The glass chapel at Thanksgiving Square has a quiet beauty, and the square rings a bell on the hour. The Bishop District has a lot of artistic charm, and there is a Revelers Hall inside. If you like jazz bars, it's highly recommended. The musicians play with great passion, and there is no mandatory additional consumption apart from food and drinks, making it the king of cost-effectiveness! π―Day 2 β Fort Worth Modern Art Museum -> Stockyards -> Water Garden Pictures 5 and 6 were taken at the Modern Art Museum, which has many interesting exhibits, and the building itself is a piece of art full of Zen πΌοΈ. The Stockyards Cowboy Town has two cattle parades at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM. After that, you can take photos with the cattle, and be sure to bring cash π°, as each photo costs $10. The water park is not large, and 20 minutes is enough. It's next to downtown Fort Worth, so you can visit downtown while you're there. π©Day 3 - Dallas The Sixth Floor Museum - Reunion Tower Go to the 6th Floor Museum to experience the location where the assassin was when Kennedy was shot. Be sure to buy tickets in advance on the official website βοΈ Otherwise, they may all be sold out. We went at 10 AM and only had tickets left for the 3:30 PM show. In the evening, climb the not-so-high Reunion Tower to enjoy the city skyline and try to recognize the places you've visited in the past few days. #travel #travelguide #dallas #solareclipse
