Solo Travel Guide to Dallas Without a Car

If you’re on a solo trip, without a rental car, and want to explore Dallas efficiently and experience the real deal, this guide is tailor-made for you. ✨[Accommodation] Near the Airport: If you have an early flight, stay close to the airport. Downtown: If you’re not in a rush, stay in the city center for easy access to everything. 🌟[Transportation] Go Pass App: Download the Go Pass app. Dallas has a complex ticketing system with different prices for morning, afternoon, and evening. Instead of dealing with that, just buy a Day Pass for $6. Once activated, it’s valid until 3 a.m. the next day, and there’s no ticket inspection. It’s valid for both buses and the light rail. Buses can be delayed frequently, but the light rail runs more often and is more punctual. 🚩[Sightseeing] Dallas is a beautiful and clean city with fantastic sunshine, a completely different world from Houston. No wonder so many friends recommended it to me. Two to three days should be enough to explore. 🧋There are quite a few interesting attractions: Half Price Books: Highly recommended! It’s a huge bookstore with a wide variety of books at great prices. You can easily spend a whole morning or afternoon browsing. Giant Eyeball: A must-visit landmark that looks like a cow’s eye. Nearby, you can also explore the City Hall, Thanksgiving Square, Dallas Museum of Art, and Crow Museum of Asian Art. Check the opening hours of the museums before you go. The downtown architecture reminds me of San Francisco. Further west, there’s the American Airlines Center. Check if there are any games and buy tickets in advance to catch an NBA game at night. #USA #USATravel #Texas #Dallas
