🄩🄩🄩 Soul Meat’s $68 Wagyu Buffet on Auckland’s North Shore

Let’s cut to the chase: if the owner can maintain the variety and quality I had tonight, this spot will definitely become impossible to book in the future! šŸ”„ā€‹ The restaurant isn’t too big—there aren’t many tables, but that’s actually a plus! The dining environment is super comfortable, totally free from the chaos of overcrowded buffets. No need to queue up and fight for food; wandering around slowly is so relaxingļ½žšŸ˜Œ Every guest gets an exclusive wagyu platter when seated (important note: not refillable!), which is the one in Picture 1! The wagyu sushi inside is absolutely incredible—meltingly tender fat paired with the natural sweetness of rice, one bite fills you with pure joy šŸ£, it’s simply divine! Except for this limited platter, ALL other dishes are ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT! It’s literally a foodie’s paradise šŸŒ! There are 3 types of sashimi, fresh with clear textures. Dip it in wasabi and soy sauce, and the freshness will blow your mind 🐟; the biggest surprise for me was actually enoki mushroom wrapped in fatty beef! Considering enoki mushrooms aren’t cheap here, the restaurant is generous enough to offer it as an all-you-can-eat option—sincerity level 100% šŸ’Æ! The sauce-covered fatty beef wrapped around crisp enoki mushrooms is so delicious it makes you tap your feet! There’s also a hidden surprise—sweet watermelon šŸ‰! Perfect for refreshing your palate after the meal or whetting your appetite midway. It’s super sweet and juicy; our table refilled it about 3 or 4 times, and the owner restocks it promptly—never runs outļ½žā€‹ We arrived at 7:30 PM, and you can tell the restaurant just started doing buffets, so the process is a bit new, but the service attitude is amazing! 😊 We originally booked an outdoor charcoal grill table, but it was full when we arrived. The landlady immediately came to communicate and asked if we minded switching to a private room with an electric grill. Honestly, the heating effect is totally fine, so we agreed without hesitationļ½ž From refilling dishes, changing the grill plate to asking for drinks, the waiters responded super quickly—warm and patient, making the experience awesome! The most praiseworthy part is the refilling speed! Even though we weren’t among the first to arrive, we could see the kitchen constantly refilling the food. The counter was always full, so no need to worry about running out of food if you’re late—way better than many buffets šŸ‘! Overall, this $68 wagyu buffet really exceeded expectations with unbeatable value for money. Our group ate to our hearts’ content—leaving stuffed to the brim is no exaggeration 🤰! But I have to grumble a little: I’m really afraid that such a hidden gem buffet, which starts with great quality, will slowly ā€œcut cornersā€ later 😭. I’ve fallen for this trick at several places before. Hope Soul Meat can maintain its current standard! Finally, I must emphasize: taste and dining experience are very subjective, and the food quality may be affected by various factorsļ½ž My experience tonight was truly worth every penny, but if your experience is different after going, please don’t think I’m paid for an advertisement! šŸ™…ā€ā™€ļø Every restaurant I visit is self-funded—pure food exploration, no benefits or kickbacks from any businesses. I’m just sharing delicious food sincerely, so stop doubting me! Trust me, foodies who love wagyu and buffets—definitely worth a try! šŸš€ā€‹ #AucklandFood #AucklandBuffet #NorthShoreFood #WagyuBuffet #AucklandFoodie #ValueForMoney #FoodieLife
