🥢 Seoul Haus 📍 13925 Yale Ave, Ste 140, Irvine, CA 92620 Galbi-Tang (Beef Rib Soup) Spicy Neckbone Soup (Gamja Tang) Spicy Pork Belly Cold Noodles + Bulgogi This spot has been around since 2012. The place isn’t huge, but there’s always a line during mealtime. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My top pick is their Spicy Neckbone Soup — made with meaty neck bones, potatoes, and perilla leaves. Unlike some places that only give bones, here you get big chunks of meat. In Korea, this is a popular drinking food or hangover cure. Many Koreans use the leftovers to make fried rice with sesame, perilla, and seaweed — talking about it makes me wanna fly to Korea for a feast! 🍚🔥 Their Galbi-Tang is also a must-try — you can tell the broth has been simmered for hours. With green onions, dates, and glass noodles, it’s rich and comforting. Dip the ribs in their special sauce. The spicy pork belly reminds me of a famous spot in Korea — it’s so good over rice, or wrapped in lettuce with peppers and garlic for a lighter, tasty meal. Their cold noodles + bulgogi combo is just like the famous chain Yongsung Naengmyeon in Korea — authentic and satisfying. 🥢 Chan Chan Food House Kimchi Spam Fried Rice (add cheese!) 🧀 Chanchan Kimbap Soondae (Korean blood sausage) Fried Chicken (sweet soy, sweet garlic, sweet chili) Chan Chan is where my husband and I had our first meal as friends! He ordered kimchi spam fried rice with extra cheese. Too shy to show my real appetite back then, I only had a few bites — so I went back the next day and devoured a whole order myself 😂 To this day, the best kimchi fried rice for me is still either Chan Chan’s or my husband’s ❤️ Their special mini kimbap is packed with fillings — way more satisfying than regular versions. And their fried chicken in sweet soy, garlic, or chili is crispy, juicy, and totally addictive! #IrvineEats #KoreanFood #OCFood #SeoulHaus #ChanChan #ComfortFood #FoodMemories
