Spend Your LA Weekend Making Adorable Plush Dolls with Friends! π§Έβ¨
Another weekend, another search for something fun and creative to do! My bestie and I discovered this super cute DIY plush doll shop and knew we had to try it. π₯³ And let me tell you β it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the cutest, pinkest interior. The store was so spacious and bright, and the staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming π₯°. We visited the Lumee store in Pasadena β which, by the way, doesn't just offer moro doll making! They also have cloud clay (creamy glue) crafts, stress-relief squishies, Labubu blind boxes, and even mini preserved flower arrangements for your car! The vibe was just fantastic! π Once we decided to make our own plush dolls, the lovely staff member guided us through the first steps: choosing the fur material and color for our new buddy. Then came the really fun part β picking out outfits, tiny bags, and adorable accessories! π§₯ππ After gathering all our chosen items, we settled in at our crafting station. The staff member patiently walked us through each step of creating our dolls. You can choose to make a dog, a bunny, or a bear β how cute is that? There's even a little name tag where you can give your plushie a unique name! πΆπ»π° After bringing our doll to life, it was time for the best part: dressing it up! When everything was perfect, the staff placed our finished dolls on a fluffy cloud-shaped pillow for a special "handover ceremony." πβοΈ They even spritzed them with a touch of Dyptique perfume β which smelled INCREDIBLE, by the way. We were sniffing our new plush friends all afternoon long! ππ Finally, we got to choose the color of the doll's carrying chain and a cute drawstring pouch for taking our new buddies home.
