Spending the Weekend Like a Local in Spain
Spending the weekend with friends in Barcelona, it's all about sunshine, beaches, dining, and drinking. Wake up naturally, have breakfast, and then gather to head to the seaside ποΈ. We drove to the beach in Calella for lunch. At 3 o'clock, every restaurant was packed, and we could only wait for a table while sipping drinks at the entrance, which made lunch last until after 5 π€¦πΎββοΈ. We wandered around the beach, but there was no space for us, haha, so we went to a friend's place on the nearby hill. The large flat area on the mountaintop was really beautiful, and we were treated to a stunning sunset π. The pink and purple hues of the sunset are something I could never miss π« . It was so beautiful! In the evening, we went to Begur to attend a local festival called INDIANS BEGUR, with a Cuban vibe. The music and food were all Cuban-style, and mojitos were the order of the day, with everyone holding a glass! The dress code was ALL WHITE, and surprisingly, 95% of the people wore white! When we left after 11 pm, there were still many people just arriving. It's safe to say that Europeans and our schedules really differ quite a bit, haha. We drove back to Barcelona, which took about an hour and a half. A weekend day can be so fulfilling, and the life of the people in Barcelona is so colorful and vibrant π. #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend#LiveAndLife#OffTheBeatenPathTravel#NoteInspiration#WheatishSkinGirl#RecorderOfRomanticLife
