Spinnaker Chocolate: Seattle’s Winter Must-Have Hot Chocolate
After playing tennis at Greenlake and picking up bread at Sea Wolf, I wandered around the neighborhood and stumbled upon Spinnaker Chocolate—a true “bean-to-bar” chocolate maker🍫. I ordered their House blend hot chocolate☕️, and it was absolutely delicious. Especially on a chilly 5°C day in Seattle❄️, holding a warm cup felt incredibly cozy🤎. I also tried their iced chocolate milk—it was good, but the hot version was truly exceptional! Their chocolates are all single-origin, and you can sample each variety. My favorite was Belize with Bourbon—subtly boozy, not too sweet, and so smooth. Even the Belize without bourbon was delicious on its own! I loved it so much that I signed up for their membership🎫: $30 per quarter, which includes three chocolate bars at the end of each quarter, a 10% discount on purchases, and access to members-only factory tours where they explain the chocolate-making process. I really adore the laid-back, charming vibe of the Wallingford neighborhood. And I heard Snow Peak is opening here soon—can’t wait! #SeattleLife #SeattleExploration #Seattle #Chocolate #HotChocolate #HotCocoa #ChocolateLover #ChocolateMilk
