Spokane Food Diary – Surprisingly Not Disappointing! 😋

I wasn’t expecting much from Spokane’s food scene at first, but it totally proved me wrong 😆✨ Never underestimate any city! Tomato Street – American-style Italian 🧀🍝 Lots of cheese on every dish! Comes with garlic bread. The Tomato Basil Soup wasn’t sour—probably from all the cream and cheese 🥣🧀. I prefer a stronger tomato taste. Manicotti was mostly white sauce and cheese with little seafood. Lazonni was interesting—like a mix of bread and lasagna, though light on meat. Thai Bamboo (North Division) – Their flagship store with cool decor 🎍🍜 Drunken Noodles had more veggies than noodles 🥬😅... way too salty. Curry was just okay—simple and Americanized, also spicier than expected 🌶️. Not a repeat for me. Frank’s Diner – Popular train car restaurant 🚂🍳 Long wait, small space. Friendly staff! Food was average: Fried green tomatoes 👍🏼 Southern vibe Benedict sauce was overwhelming, barely any seafood 🥚 Elk “steak” tasted more like meatloaf 🦌… slightly gamey Interesting sourdough bread though! Wild Sage Bistro – Cozy vibe 🍖🍰 Popover: slightly bitter but loved the lavender butter 🧈 Lamb shank: tender but sauce was a bit odd 🐑 Duck dish: perfectly cooked, not too salty—winner! 🦆 Coconut Cake: AMAZING!! Worth returning for 🥥🍰💖 Sushi.com – Surprisingly good 🍣🎎 Cherry Blossom Roll: fresh and smooth 🌸 Rainbow Roll: decent but had better Chirashi: skip it ✖️ Yakisoba: WOK HEI PERFECTION 🔥🍜 Highly recommend! Poke King – Fresh and good 🐟🥗 Not many toppings, but you can pick 4 proteins. Eel was delicious! Out of space—short and sweet wrap-up! 🤪 #HiddenRestaurantGems #FoodieDiary #SpokaneEats #WashingtonState #TravelWA #FoodLover #SeattleDayTrips
