Spring Hike 🍃|Los Angeles Altay — That Matcha Mountain!
This famous trail is every bit as beautiful as promised! 🗺️⛰️ The hike takes about 2–3 hours. I highly recommend starting around 3 PM—the afternoon sun is gentle, the temperature is perfect, and you’ll finish right around sunset, just as you return to the parking lot. 🌅👟 📍 Trail: Helen McCoy Loop via Eucalyptus Trail 🅿️ Parking: Chino Hills Community Park The trail begins with a gentle climb up a dirt path lined with white fences. 🧱🌾 The first half takes you through rolling green hills dotted with grazing cows—truly like walking across a giant “matcha” mountain! 🐄🍵 The second half feels like wandering into a quiet Hawaiian neighborhood, with peaceful streets and lush surroundings. You’ll also pass an abandoned rapeseed flower field and serene horse farms along the way. 🐴💛 It’s a wonderfully quiet and scenic route—perfect for a spring afternoon reset. Whether you're looking for a peaceful solo walk, a photo adventure, or just some time surrounded by nature, this trail delivers calm and beauty in every step. 🌿🧘♀️✨ #LosAngelesHikes #ChinoHills #NatureTrail #HikingLA #MatchaMountain #WeekendAdventure #SpringHike #OutdoorLife #SoCalNature #TrailVibes
