💦 Peessa Ella Waterfall 🌈Peessa Ella Fall, derived from the ancient Sinhalese word "peessa," means a place where people gather. The waterfall is formed by the abundant rainfall in the area, originating from the aquifer on the Lunugala mountain peak, and it flows all year round. Especially after rain, the additional water volume creates a spectacular sight, with a breathtakingly magnificent view! 🗺️ Routes to Get There Route One: Starting from Passara, take the Passara-Bibile road, turn right at the 22nd milestone, and follow the road south for 6 kilometers to reach the Peessa Agri-Colony where the waterfall is located. ✨Route Two: From Badalkumbura, pass by the Walas Falls to reach Peessa Village, then hike along the small path on the right side of the Peessa Canal Road. This 1.5-kilometer journey through the tropical grasslands, accompanied by the calls of animals living in the area, offers travelers a unique adventure. 🏷️ Location: X6G9+6J9, Horton Plains Laxapana Waterfall 🌈"Laxapana" means "a thousand lamps," referring to the shimmering droplets as the waterfall cascades down. The total height of the waterfall is about 126 meters, making it the eighth highest waterfall in the country. It is said that a mythical serpent named "Naga Raja" resides deep within the waterfall, and disrespecting the waterfall can lead to misfortune.
