Stowe Eastern US Ski Season Guide🏂Vermont Second Visit❄️ It’s about a 3.5-hour drive from Boston to Stowe—scenery along the way is stunning, and snowy days have their own charm! 🚗💨 We booked an Airbnb in Burlington, so we checked out nearby spots. Here are some great places to explore besides skiing—save this list! 👇 1️⃣ Ben & Jerry’s Factory🐄 📍1281 Waterbury-Stowe Rd Route 100 This is Ben&Jerry’s open factory! Tickets ($7/person) need to be booked in advance, and it’s popular with families. �🏡 The factory’s signs and trash cans are cute, plus there’s a “Flavor Garden” showcasing discontinued ice cream flavors (sad to see them go～😢). With a ticket, you can watch a timeline video of the brand, peek into the flavor development lab, and more! The gift shop is adorable—1 hour is enough to explore. 2️⃣ Cold Hollow Cider Mill🍎 📍3600 Waterbury-Stowe Rd, Waterbury Center Just a 5-minute drive from the ice cream factory! It’s packed with Vermont souvenirs: plushies, stickers, fridge magnets, homemade jams, desserts, kitchenware… so fun to browse～ 🛍️ Head inside to see the open cider-making station and get free samples (super refreshing～😋). 40 minutes to explore—worth a stop! 3️⃣ Church Street Marketplace🛍️ 📍131 Church St, Burlington, VT 05401 A 30-minute drive from Stowe to Burlington, this pedestrian street is long! Cute shops, cafes, and boutiques—you could spend 1.5 hours here easily. In winter, there might be Christmas decorations for extra charm～ 🎄 5️⃣ Waterfront Park🌅 📍10 College St, Burlington, VT 05401 The perfect spot to watch the sunset! It’s freezing (brrr～🥶), so I stayed in the car, but friends got amazing photos—golden light on the lake makes winter feel cozy. Bundle up and go! 6️⃣ Snow Farm Vineyard & Winery🍇 📍190 W Shore Rd, South Hero, VT 05486 A 50-minute drive to this island on the lake—completely frozen, with people even camping on the ice (brave souls～🧊)! Visit the on-site farm, and it’s close to Canada. Nice views but not super entertaining—good for a quick stop. 7️⃣ Stowe Mountain Resort🏂 📍5781 Mountain Rd, Stowe, VT 05672 Not much to say about the ski resort! For me, Vermont’s joy is half skiing, half staying in a cabin with friends—cooking, playing games, and chatting by the fire (so warm～🔥).
