Stranger Things Pilgrimage in Atlanta ๐ฌ๐
Just finished Vol. 2 โ so many emotions, and now I canโt wait for the final season! ๐ญ๐ Spent this Christmas in Atlanta again and decided to hit some iconic Stranger Things filming spots. Big thanks to @quintoben for the guideโwe followed it and covered so many locations in one day! We picked up a rental car at the airport (though the chaotic rental system cost us 2 hours ๐ ), then drove to: ๐ The Kids' Houses ๐ 2530 Piney Wood Ln (Mike's house) ๐ 2280 Piney Wood Ln (Lucas's house) ๐ 2880 Piney Wood Dr (Dustin's house) Note: Will's house was too far, so we skipped it. All homes have "No Trespassing" signs since so many fans visit. ๐ญ Hopkins Steel Mill / Arches Brewing ๐ 2903 RN Martin St, East Point Billy's blue Camaro is still parked outside! ๐๐ ๐๏ธ City Hall ๐ 2757 E Point St, East Point โ the iconic Hawkins downtown! ๐ซ Hawkins High School ๐ 109 S Lee St, Stockbridge Sadly, the school building is goneโonly the white water tower remains. ๐๏ธ Stranger Things Store in Jackson ๐ 101 E 2nd St, Jackson A fan heaven! They sell themed merch, have two huge demogorgon figs, and even offer costume rentals. Grabbed a Max fridge magnetโthough her Funko Pop was sold out. The Surfer Boy Pizza truck parked outside was super popular for photos! ๐ South Bend Pool ๐ 2000 Lakewood Ave SE, Atlanta Closed for winter and covered up. Not sure if itโs still in use. ๐งช Hawkins Lab ๐ Hawkins Lab, Atlanta, GA 30306 Barricaded now, so we could only peek from outside.
