SUCCOTASH in DC 🍽️|A Taste of Southern Comfort! 🌿

This restaurant specializes in Southern cuisine – warm, hearty, and full of flavor! We visited on a Sunday for brunch – and their set menu was a great deal! 🥳 Brunch Set – $29 for 6 dishes including dessert and signature items! 🍴 We added an extra egg 🥚, a bottle of water 💧, plus tax and 20% service charge – came out to $45 per person. 💰 🥚 PICKLED GREEN TOMATO DEVILED EGGS – 5⭐ So good! A real signature dish – we even added an extra one with bacon jam for just $1.75 – total steal! 🥓🍅 🍅 FRIED GREEN TOMATOES – 4⭐ Served with a big salad mix including dried fruit, nuts, and fresh fruit – pretty tasty! 🥗✨ 🍗 CHICKEN & WAFFLES – 3⭐ A Southern classic, but the waffle had a strong cinnamon flavor, and the fried chicken was a bit too tough. 🧇🐔 🦐 SHRIMP ‘N’ GRITS – 5⭐ Another Southern staple – delicious! The shrimp were fresh and bouncy, grits were creamy and satisfying! 🥣🔥 🥬 CITRUS, BLUE CHEESE & SPICY PEANUTS – 2⭐ Not my favorite veggie dish – but the cheese flavor wasn’t too strong. My dining buddy liked it though! 😄🧀 🍯 PECAN STICKY BUNS – 1⭐ Way too sweet for me – heavy on cinnamon, and one bite kept me buzzing till 8 PM! 🍯🚫 #DMVFoodReview #DCRestaurant #SouthernFood #BrunchGoals #ComfortFood #SetMenu #GoodValue #SignatureDishes #SweetAndSavory #FoodRating #DCBrunch #SouthernHospitality #ShareTheFeast #FoodieDiary #DCGuide #EatLocal #FlavorBurst #HitsAndMisses #WeekendEats #CityDining
