Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine is located on the southern side of Osaka City and was constructed in 211 AD. πΈπΊπΏπ It is one of the oldest shrines in Japan and serves as the head shrine for all Sumiyoshi shrines across the country. π°πΏ During the New Year's Day 'HatsumΕde', the shrine is always packed with people β°οΈπ. πΈπΊπΏπ If you wish to pay your first visit here for the New Year, be prepared for the crowds.
