Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine is located on the southern side of Osaka City and was constructed in 211 AD. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 It is one of the oldest shrines in Japan and serves as the head shrine for all Sumiyoshi shrines across the country. 🏰🌿 During the New Year's Day 'Hatsumōde', the shrine is always packed with people ⛰️🌊. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 If you wish to pay your first visit here for the New Year, be prepared for the crowds.
