Lake Tahoe has a magical way of making even the least active person fall in love with the outdoors. Early summer here means perfect weather and breathtaking views! ๐ Activities ๐ช Paragliding So much fun โ zero sense of falling, not even when turning! Soaring above the lake feels like having a birdโs-eye view ๐ฆ . The whole lake unfolds beneath you โ absolutely surreal! ๐ฃ Clear Kayaking Great for photos, but a one-time experience for me. The guide felt a bit rushed. If you know how to kayak, Iโd recommend renting your own โ cheaper and more freedom! ๐ง Hiking at Cave Rock Perfect for adventurers! You can climb to the top (some scrambling involved). We took 30+ minutes using hands and feet โ but the summit views are unreal ๐ . Ideal at sunset! Next time: Jet skiing + lakeside biking! ๐ดโ๏ธ๐จ ๐จ Accommodation Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Private beach ๐๏ธ โ quiet and uncrowded Free activities: archery, axe throwing, yoga ๐น๐ช๐ง Loved Burn & Brew: burn designs into wood to make fridge magnets, ornaments, coasters โ a unique Tahoe souvenir! ๐ฅ๐ Breakfast buffet was delicious ๐๐ฐ Evenings: roast marshmallows by the fire ๐ฅ๐ก ๐ฝ๏ธ Food & Drinks ๐ Redโs Old 395 Grill A must for meat lovers! Huge portions, smoky flavors, wild West decor ๐. Like Texas Roadhouse but better! Service was exceptional. ๐ชต The Edge Restaurant & Lounge Inside Edgewood โ requires reservation. Great views, but food was just okay ๐. ๐ฅ Hellโs Kitchen You canโt skip the hype โ food is decent, but their foie gras was better than Edgewoodโs! ๐ฆ My Thai Cuisine Delicious Thai food โ even better than Bay Area spots! BUTโฆ service was terrible ๐ค. Great taste, rude staff. ๐ฆ Sweet Tahoe Time Ice Cream Cozy spot near Kings Beach โ huge servings!
