🐻 Sunrise Safari at Maroon Bells: A Wildlife Wonderland!

Visited in June 2024 with an all-day pass (midnight to midnight)—but thanks to jet lag, we arrived at 5:30 AM... and it was magical! 🌟 Early Birds Get: A mirror-like Maroon Lake at sunrise 🌄 Wildlife galore! Spotted: 🐻 A teenage brown bear 🦊 A fox carrying a marmot (and live marmots too!) 🦌 Grazing deer Pro photographers capturing the golden hour (no crowds!) 🥾 Trail Recap 🌲 Scenic Loop (0.7 miles) Pure magic! Aspen groves, mini waterfalls, and creeks—totally empty. Easy walk (watch for rocks). 🏔️ Crater Lake Trail Turned back after 20 mins (steep + rocky), but no regrets—Scenic Loop was enough beauty! 🎟️ Booking Tip Reserve parking passes at aspenchamber.org.
