Sunrises and sunsets beneath Banff's snow-capped mountains ⛰️

Banff in autumn is breathtakingly beautiful. But I’ve heard it’s this stunning all year round. I love the soft textures here, and the dazzling tranquility. Watched sunrises and sunsets beneath snow-capped mountains, and gazed at the moon and stars. A few beautiful spots, a casual guide—travel should be relaxed and comfortable. 📍Emerald Lake 🌟 There’s a bridge over the lake leading to a hotel halfway up the mountain. The view is absolutely spectacular. 📍Lake Louise 🌟 A paradise for boating and watching sunrises. It’s a bit cold in the morning, but the nearby hotel serves coffee. 📍Sulphur Mountain Take the 🚡 cable car to the top—the scenery along the way is incredible. A must-visit for tourists, and I’m one of them! 📍Town of Banff A small town embraced by snow-capped mountains, as charming as a piece of toffee. There are more animals than restaurants here. 📍Bow Lake 🩵 An emerald-green lake. When the gentle wind brushes over it, it loses its sense of reality, as if time has frozen. 📍Banff View Point 🌇 A local-recommended spot for sunset at the top of the mountain My favorite place. Some people were cooking on stone stools, while goats grazed on the slope. Pure bliss. 📍Two Jack Lake A dark sky preserve. Sit on the car roof, snack, and stargaze—I saw a starlink for the first time here. 📍Bow Fall A small waterfall in town, perfect for playing in the water. Sit on a bench, soak up the sun, and zone out. 🚗 Choose self-driving! Driving around here is an incredible pleasure. 🌟 Marks spots that get crowded with limited parking. You can go at dawn to watch the sunrise—no queues! 🌞 Bring a warm coat, wear comfortable shoes, apply sunscreen, and stock up on snacks for the car. Trust the “J people” (organized folks)—otherwise, you’ll be cold, sunburned, hungry, and exhausted. Back in Toronto, we added it up: my bestie and I spent 5 days here, and it only cost around $1k each.
