Tampa | Strawberry Festival 🍓

🔍 Florida Strawberry Festival 📍 2209 W. Oak Avenue, Plant City, FL 33563 The annual Strawberry Festival in Plant City is so lively and fun! 🎡 Although you can’t pick strawberries (a bit of a bummer 😔), it’s still a perfect spot for a family day out. There are tons of stalls—I almost got lost because there were so many! I even got a portrait done for my dad. It took less than 10 minutes… though the result looked more like Mr. Bean 😂 After that, we continued exploring. Food stands mainly fell into three categories: 🍔 Savory Bites: Hot Dogs / Pizza Burgers / Sandwiches Nachos / Chips Tacos Turkey Legs 🍩 Sweet Treats: Ice Cream Funnel Cakes Donuts / Buns Fried Oreos / Cookies Popcorn / Candy Apples 🥤 Drinks: Strawberry Lemonade Frosted Ice Tea Smoothies / Frozen Drinks We ate as we wandered 🚶‍♀️ Started with a brisket berry taco—my first time trying a taco with strawberries… and probably my last 😅 (Sorry, strawberries!) Then we had fried mushrooms and curly chips from another vendor. The potatoes were freshly spiral-cut right in front of us—waited about 3 minutes. Our first reaction: “So crispy!!!” 🤩 We couldn’t stop munching. But at $10, it felt a bit overpriced 💸 Also tried the Sweet Heart Donut—palm-sized, topped with Nutella, strawberries, and cream. The cream melted too fast and was way too much—would’ve been better with less. That one donut filled me up! We skipped the turkey leg (knew it’d be too salty) and tried alligator meat instead… which was even saltier 😫 Lesson learned: should’ve picked the turkey leg. A $20 mistake 🐊💔 But then we found the pineapple slushie—super cute design! 🍍 They also had strawberry buns that looked adorable, but were way too sweet. A few bites were enough. Before leaving, we rode the Ferris wheel—best value of the day! 🎡 For $7, we went around three whole times! There were also lots of craft stalls and tents with live country music.
