Tampa 4️⃣| An Exotic Adventure - Eat, Play & Explore
📍Lunch: Ybor City Columbia Restaurant A historic spot with banquet hall vibes—very classy and photogenic! 📸 The food was decent from a Western perspective, but didn’t fully satisfy our Chinese taste buds 😅 The bread with butter was yummy. Best dish: Paella Española (4.4/5) 👌 Steak Salteado (4.2/5) – a bit salty Canelloni de Langosta (4.1/5) – lobster pasta, cheesy but gets heavy Shrimp (4.3/5) – tasty but sauce was a tad strong 📍Clearwater Beach Turned into frogs 🐸 (or “wa oh!”) because we got totally soaked by waves while playing with shells and sand—shoes, socks, and pants all wet! 💦 📍Little Toot Dolphin Tour Haven’t seen so many Chinese people in one place since class! 🇨🇳👨👩👧👦 1.5-hour cruise—not too seasick, views were nice 🌊 No dolphins spotted (I mean, why would they want to “perform” for humans? It’s risky for them… let them chill in peace 🐬🙏) But we caught the sunset and lots of birds! 🌄 The guide said we could come back for a free tour within the year if no dolphins were seen, but probably won’t… It was FREEZING on the boat—could’ve used a down jacket! 🥶🧥 📍Dinner: Nine Spices Hot Pot and Korean BBQ - Clearwater All-you-can-eat hot pot – ate like crazy! 🍲🔥 Spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Our server was super nice. A Chinese-speaking manager occasionally checked on us and recommended special tofu skin (like the outer layer of fried ring rolls). 👍 #Tampa #Travel #Foodie #DolphinTour #SunsetChasing #WinterGetaway #Wanderlust #TampaDiaries
