I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nine Spices Korean BBQ, and I must say, my experience was quite enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the meal. The restaurant was tastefully decorated with a modern yet cozy aesthetic, making it a pleasant environment to relax and enjoy the food. The service was prompt, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. They took the time to explain the menu options and guide us through the process of ordering, which I appreciated, especially since this was my first time experiencing Korean barbecue. They were also quick to refill our side dishes and drinks, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Now, let's talk about the food! The selection of meats was impressive, with a variety of options to choose from. We opted for the marinated short ribs, which were tender and bursting with flavor, and the pork, which was wonderfully juicy and cooked to perfection on the grill embedded at our table. The ability to grill our own food added an interactive element to the dining experience that I found enjoyable. The staff provided guidance on cooking times, ensuring that everything came out just right. In addition to the meats, the selection of side dishes was delightful. The kimchi was fresh and had a nice kick, while the pickled vegetables and other sides complimented the main dishes perfectly. I also appreciated the variety of dipping sauces available, which added another layer of flavor to the meal. The overall dining experience at Nine Spices Korean BBQ was enhanced by the atmosphere. The sounds of sizzling meat and laughter created a vibrant backdrop, making it a fun place to share a meal with friends or family. Lastly, the pricing was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food we received. It’s a great value for anyone looking to enjoy a hearty meal. In conclusion, Nine Spices Korean BBQ offers a great combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a great atmosphere. Whether you are a seasoned Korean BBQ enthusiast or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is worth a visit. I look forward to returning and exploring more...
Read moreWe went here (sat next to the conveyor belt) and loved the experience! We didn't get BBQ items, only their hot pot, but we were pleasantly surprised! We have never gone for hot pot before at a restaurant so had no real expectations going in but we both throughly enjoyed our experience. The traditional chicken broth was okay, kind of bland, needed salt, and very creamy (not bad per say, just not what I was expecting). The chicken flavor was very rich though! We both preferred the Thai style spicy soup base which was sour, spicy, and perfectly balanced! This was definitely the winner for us. There's also ton of ads in options, mostly seafood and meat but there are definitely options for plant based diets too! I really enjoyed the lotus root, tofu, and taro. They have a large make your own sauce area too with just about every option you could possibly need/want. Another unexpected bonus was their array of desserts - there were so so many delicious options and we tried (and enjoyed) just about all of them! Definitely recommend the chocolate pudding in a closed plastic cup and the tiramisu. The waiter we had was great, attentive, and so very polite. The table area was clean and I appreciated the suggestion to wear masks (Also that most staff wore masks - which is a big plus for us). Though it is on the pricier side, id say it's worth it- just come expecting to eat a lot to get your money's worth out of the experience. I'd go...
Read moreHonestly, I love this place because of the food. It's a great experience when you have great service. Unfortunately, the service is very hit and miss. Sometimes you get an excellent, attentive waiter/waitress, and sometimes you're left waiting forever for a simple drink refill. On one instance I made reservations for my spouses birthday, only to get there and find out no one took down my reservation, and they ended up saying we would have to wait a couple hours for a big table, or split our party up, in order to get in, which totally spoiled it for the people joining us from out of town. I also recall an instance where one of the bus boys snatched a full plate of cooked Korean BBQ that we were still eating from our table and dumped it in their bussing cart before we could even react and tell them to stop. I will still continue to come, in the hopes that I'll get the good servers those nights, and I will say that the most recent hostess that has been working there has at least made up for the reservation process, as she always seems to be on top of it. I only hope that they soon replace those servers who just don't seem to care with ones who will do their job better. This likely would have been a 5 star rating had the service been better. Still, I would recommend this place, but if you have bad service the first time, come back a second time and hope that you get a good server, because they make the...
