Tasting Cantonese Seafood in Renton
A rare sunny Sunday in Seattle 🌤️—after hiking to Snoqualmie Falls and watching the rushing cascade, we headed straight to Kiu Yuen Seafood Restaurant in Renton for a satisfying lunch. We ordered three dishes, each generous in portion: 🦑 Salt & Pepper Squid Strips – Crispy outside, tender inside, perfectly seasoned and great for sharing. 🍜 Bean Thread Noodles in Broth – The broth was okay, but some noodles were a bit tough—decent but not memorable. 🦞 Lobster with Ginger, Scallion & Garlic – The star of the meal! The lobster was fresh and bouncy, wok-tossed with fragrant ginger, scallions, and garlic—so flavorful and satisfying 🔥 Overall, a solid spot for classic Cantonese seafood after a morning outdoors. If you’re around, their lobster and crab are definitely worth trying. 📍 Restaurant: Kiu Yuen Seafood Restaurant (Renton) 💬 In a nutshell: A no-frills Cantonese spot for fresh seafood, best for sharing with family or friends. #SeattleEats #RentonFood #CantoneseSeafood #KiuYuen #SnoqualmieFalls #WeekendVibes #ChineseFoodUSA #HiddenGemRestaurant
