🍤 Tempura Endo LA | 5/10 – A Disappointing Omakase Experience 🌪️
After having an amazing meal at Ichika in Hawaii back in March (highly recommended by the same owner who previously worked at Endo), I had high hopes for Tempura Endo in LA – especially since it’s part of a well-known chain from Japan. Unfortunately, this was one of the weakest tempura omakase experiences I’ve had 😔 🧑🍳 The Issues: ▪️ Side dishes were pre-made and tasted stale ▪️ Tempura batter was too thick and hard – not light and crispy ▪️ Overall flavor and freshness didn’t meet expectations 💸 Value: The price point ($200+ per person) simply isn’t justified by the quality of food, environment, or service. Maybe an off night? But for now – can’t recommend.
