Texas BBQ Recommendations in Dallas!
šToday, I finally had the time to try some authentic Texas BBQ. Iāve been meaning to visit this place for a while but couldnāt make it on my previous attempts. I decided to go to Hutchins. There are three locations, and I chose the one in Cleburne, which was quite far from where I was staying. ā¼ļøI ended up driving over an hour to get there, but itās conveniently close to the airport. I even switched my hotel to be closer to the restaurant. I ordered the Beef Rib, opting for a smaller one, which cost around $33. I also got a small spicy sausage for about $5, plus a 20% tip, bringing the total to around $50. I couldnāt finish it all and ended up taking the leftovers for dinner. āThe steak was crispy on the outside with a lot of black pepper, giving it a nice spicy flavor. However, it was a bit too salty on the surface for my taste, but the inside was tender and flavorful. The sausage was good but quite salty. The "spicy" flavor came from the black pepper rather than any hot peppers. The drink was self-serve from a cup, and there were a variety of side dishes in a box that you could help yourself to (though I didnāt take any). They also offered free ice cream, which I didnāt try. š„¢Restaurant Name: The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque Address: 3000 TX-114, Trophy Club, TX 76262 ā¤ļøWould I go again? If I were bringing my kids, definitely. For myself, it would depend on the distance. If itās too far, I might choose another cuisine. Next to the restaurant is Grapevine Lake. I stayed at the N White Chapel Trailhead, which is only a six-minute drive away. Itās very rustic and natural. I stood by the lake, enjoyed the breeze and the sound of the water, and took a short walk along the trail. This is one of my favorite activitiesāI did something similar in Arkansas, though this lake is much smaller. #Texas #BBQ #Canada #TorontoLife #USA #BBQ #FoodieDaily #WeekendAdventures
