Texas Roadhouse·Gotta Try the Local Steak
🛍After a whole year, I’m back at this steakhouse with a Southwestern flair! The exterior is quite bright and welcoming. Once inside, the lighting, music, and layout all exude a cowboy vibe. There are TVs for watching sports games, and all the waitstaff wear jeans, with some even sporting cowboy hats. This place is always packed during meal times, so be prepared to wait in line. Make sure to check the operating hours and try to dine off-peak if possible. 🏨When you’re seated, you’ll be greeted with complimentary cinnamon rolls, which you can get refills of or even take home. After placing your order, you can relax and wait for your meal. The table is equipped with menus and condiments, and there’s a small bucket of free peanuts. You can also play games on the electronic payment device, which is great for keeping kids entertained during family meals. 💦I really enjoy their <fried onions>, something I’ve never had back home. For the steak, just follow the menu (pay attention to the cut and doneness). You can choose two sides for free, but I wouldn’t recommend the fresh vegetables or sweet corn. If you’re asked whether you’d like to add mushrooms/onions/other toppings to your steak, be cautious—those come with an extra charge. 🎢Overall, the portions are quite generous. Shrimp is always my favorite no matter where I am. #Texas #Steak #Texas #HiddenGemRestaurant #Foodie #AmericanSteak #WeekendPlans #LifeInDallas #Mother'sDay #SteakDinner #WesternCuisine #TravelUSA #Today'sShare #Dallas #PrimeSteak
