The Best All-You-Can-Eat Hot Pot I’ve Had in the US

Recently, a new hot pot + Korean BBQ buffet called One Pot opened in Columbus. I’d been tired of budget buffets and hot pot for a while, so I didn’t go until today—and now I’m totally in love 5555 💖 First of all, the interior is gorgeous! Beautiful inside and out, and they even have outdoor seating—rare for a hot pot spot! Plus, each table has a built-in exhaust fan (like Haidilao), so you won’t leave smelling like hot pot. And our server today was pretty cute too 😉 The portion sizes are actually decent! Unlike other buffets that give you tiny plates, they use dishes of different sizes. You won’t get all 10 orders of meat piled on one plate. And the food is delicious! The fish was just okay, but everything else I ordered was great. I got the spicy beef broth base—tasty at first, though it mellowed out later. I just grabbed some extra spices from the sauce station (which is amazing, by the way!). They had three savory side dishes—the spicy tripe salad was especially good—and three desserts, including ice jelly and a coconut sago pudding that was so good I didn’t even need bubble tea! Today was my first time trying dragon fruit shrimp paste—sounded weird but was actually so fresh and sweet! The dragon fruit seeds popped like boba, and with the dry spice dip… perfection! I alone finished 6 orders 🦐🔥 The price is super reasonable—just $30 per person for dinner. Two of us paid $65 after tax, $78 with tip. I weighed myself when I got home… 6 pounds heavier 😂 Haven’t been this full in ages! Another plus: ordering and service are lightning fast ⚡! No waiting around like at other hot pot buffets. The service was great too—when I asked the cute server for more food, he whipped out the ordering tablet from his back pocket, tossed it in the air, caught it, and asked what I wanted. Made my binge-eating night extra smooth 🍽️✨ I officially declare: No more Kpot or PJ Hotpot for me! Last time at PJ Hotpot, I even got yelled at by a racist homeless woman in the parking lot 😤 BTW, this place is in Dublin (Ohio, not Ireland), right next to Whole Foods. #USA #HotPot #InternationalStudentLife #Ohio #Columbus #OSU #FoodReview #ColumbusEats
