The Best Paella Near Sagrada FamĂlia đĽ
This restaurant is in a great location. After visiting the Sagrada FamĂlia, we were super hungry, and it was drizzling, so we chose El Glop GaudĂ. As soon as we walked in, we noticed it was full of Asian facesâproof that the flavors suit Asian tastes! đĽ Paella The rice isnât overly hardâthe texture is just right. The tomato flavor is well-balanced, not too sour, and the seafood is very fresh. The only downside is that itâs a bit salty, but overall, itâs highly recommended. (PS: You can order a single portion! Make sure to ask the server. Some have said itâs not possible, but we managed toâmaybe it depends on the server.) đ Grilled Octopus Tentacle The octopus itself is quite bland and relies heavily on the sauce and fruit for flavor. Itâs a Spanish classic, but not my favoriteâso I wouldnât recommend it. đ JamĂłn with Melon You canât visit Spain without trying jamĂłn! The combination of cured ham and melon is perfect. Their melon is incredibly sweet, and the ham isnât too saltyâabsolutely a must-order! We walked in without a reservationâthere are plenty of tables. The staff were super friendly, and itâs just a few minutes from the Sagrada FamĂlia, making it a great post-sightseeing meal spot. #WillRepeat #BarcelonaEats #UKStudyAbroad #BritishStudentsTravel
