The Best Thing at the Ox Intestine Specialty Restaurant is Rice Cake?!

Dallas has finally opened its second ox intestine restaurant. As someone who loves ox intestines, I was excited to try it out after seeing the high online reviews. 👌🏻 Overall rating: Three and a half stars🌟. My friend and I both thought it was too greasy, which made us feel full halfway through the meal. 💯1⃣️ Environment and Service: Since it's a new restaurant, the environment is quite good. The smoke in the restaurant is not strong or suffocating. However, it was quite noisy because it was full. The waitstaff were friendly, but a bit inexperienced. Their English wasn't very good, so they couldn't explain the menu well. They did help with the grilling, but not much. The food took a bit long to arrive; it took about 15 minutes after we ordered. 💯2⃣️ Food: The side dishes were a bit limited compared to the other ox intestine restaurant. We even had to ask the waiter for kimchi. For the main course, we ordered half a portion of ox intestine set and half a portion of ox rumen. When they were served, they were already cooked (except for the ox heart). We just needed to heat and grill them in the pan.❗️But❗️since the griddle was solid-bottomed, the oil from the ox intestines all stayed in the pan, making it increasingly greasy as we ate. In the end, it became too much for us. (I miss the other ox intestine restaurant where the oil could drip through the grill, so it wasn't greasy.) ✨Also, regarding the side dishes in the set (we ordered extra because the waiter didn't explain clearly and the menu didn't specify): The double set comes with four pieces of rice cake and a portion of egg-fried rice (to be stir-fried after eating the meat). Friends with smaller appetites don't need to order extra rice cake and steamed eggs. The rice cake was super delicious. We ordered extra rice cakes, but we ate them all and ended up too full to eat the meat afterward. Hahaha. #fortlee #gopchang #ox_intestine #grilled_meat
