South Africa is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. The months of October to December are perfect for the climate and also the best season for whale-watching in South Africa. 🏖️During this trip, we will embark on open-top safari vehicles to track wildlife, swim with seals in the ocean, take whale-watching cruises, visit penguins in Cape Town, hop on a wine train for a tour of the vineyards, and ride a cable car up Table Mountain to watch the sunset. Additionally, as you may already know, South Africa is home to many world-famous restaurants, and we will enjoy a gourmet feast at a restaurant ranked in the top 50 globally! Day 1-3: Cape Town The legislative capital of South Africa, with its stunning coastline, vibrant Bo-Kaap neighborhood, iconic landmarks such as Table Mountain (known as "God's Table"), the Cape of Good Hope (where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet), and Camps Bay (the filming location for the fictional town in Black Mirror). ✅ Experiences: Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain sunset, Cape Winelands tour, wine train journey through the vineyards. Day 4-5: Hermanus Whale-Watching - Oudtshoorn A world-renowned whale-watching town where you can get up close to whales and witness their incredible performances. You can also feed the adorable Hartlaub's gulls. Take a horseback ride through the South African countryside and visit the maritime museum to see a 1:1 replica of Diaz's ship. ✅ Experiences: Whale-watching cruises, enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery, horseback riding. Day 6-7: Meerkat Safari - Tsitsikamma National Park - Plettenberg Bay A truly exciting day with lots of activities. Plettenberg Bay, with its golden sands and warm waters, is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and whale-watching. Tsitsikamma National Park is one of South Africa's most popular parks, where you can explore diverse wildlife, forests, and canyons all in one place. ✅ Experiences: Meerkat spotting, feeding ostriches, strawberry picking, oyster feast, swimming with seals. Day 8: Shamwari Private Game Reserve, Full-Day Safari Unlike other wildlife reserves, Shamwari Game Reserve is privately owned and one of the best family-friendly safari destinations in South Africa. You will enjoy two game drives (morning and evening) to track the Big Five and have the opportunity to observe animals in their natural hunting moments. Day 9: Free Time for Shopping and Departure Enjoy a day of leisure, shopping, and sightseeing before your departure.
