If you’re a sculptor, if you love art, if you’ve been to most of Rome’s art galleries and feel a bit bored, and you happen to be near the Spanish Steps and hungry, you absolutely have to visit this restaurant filled with genuine sculptures by Canova and Tadolini. 🍽️ After experiencing the religious-themed sculpture restaurant in Antwerp, I’ve found another neoclassical sculpture-themed restaurant right here in Rome. This place used to be Canova’s studio, which he bought for his favorite student, Adamo Tadolini. The two of them spent most of their creative time here. 🏛️ While you dine, you’ll be surrounded by sculptures that are over 200 years old, and you can even see Canova’s actual sculpting studio. This magical experience can only be found in Italy. If you don’t want to spend a lot, you can enjoy an affordable afternoon tea.
