The Hidden Gem of Sichuan Cuisine in Massachusetts ✨

Who would have thought that this "Japanese fusion" restaurant in Ashland actually serves the most amazing Sichuan cuisine in all of Massachusetts?! Three of us ordered six or seven dishes and ate to our heart’s content—though the portions are huge, so three or four dishes would have been enough! 🍢 Fell in love at first bite with the seasoning sauce for the stinky tofu—rich and uniquely fragrant; 🦆 The smoky flavor and crispy skin of the smoked duck became more addictive with every bite; 🌶️ The Kung Pao chicken had absolutely perfect seasoning—balanced between spicy, numbing, sweet, and tangy; 🍚 With the mapo tofu over rice, my boyfriend polished off two big bowls straight away! The owner, an uncle, is super kind and warmly recommended other dishes based on our preferences—each one was a delightful surprise. Already looking forward to coming back next week to explore more new dishes! 📍 The restaurant is conveniently located for both the Worcester area and downtown Boston—definitely worth a special weekend drive. 🏮 Restaurant name: Hanto Restaurant 🚗 Plenty of parking right outside. Address: 380 Union St, Ashland, MA 01721 #SichuanCuisine #MassachusettsFood #BostonRestaurants #WorcesterLife #StudyInBoston
