The intricate decorations are incredibly beautiful.

Florence Cathedral ⛪ The intricate decorations are incredibly beautiful. We climbed the bell tower's staircase, and our legs were sore, But seeing Florence at dusk made it all worthwhile. --- San Marco Monastery Fra Angelico was a genius. It could be said that in that era, all the artists in Italy were geniuses. In the monastery's oratory, there was a gap in the floor. Crouching down to look through it revealed frescoes from the previous religious order. The paintings were good, but they couldn't compare. At that moment, I understood what it means to prefer being the head of a chicken rather than the tail of a phoenix. You paint well, but with so many masters and geniuses, you can't help but be overshadowed. But even the shining artists stand on the shoulders of their predecessors. We must thank all the artists for their contributions. The world's hustle and bustle comes from solitude. --- Watching the sunset from the Ponte Vecchio was breathtaking 🌇 We rushed towards the night. How many stories has midnight Florence by the river witnessed? Watching the sunrise from Michelangelo Square 🌅 Eager eyes watching the clouds transform. A hot air balloon flew by, and a couple was taking wedding photos on the square. --- "Is that a little highlight? Is it a cloud?" "It looks like the sun." Before the words were finished, the sun jumped out from the mountaintop. Golden light spread across the land of Tuscany. --- Uffizi Gallery, another gathering of masters and great artists. Botticelli, a bit Instagrammable, with people floating and full of vitality. He seems like a botanist. Leonardo da Vinci, I prefer his unfinished sketches to his completed paintings. The finished works sometimes feel overly polished and unnatural. Sometimes showing a bit of imperfection makes them more human. Raphael, the figures in motion are very dynamic, I like that. The plate with Medusa painted on it feels like it's going to devour me. For a moment, I wondered if I had already turned to stone? --- Food time! Fruit-flavored gelato tasted like rotten grapes, figs, and persimmons. The peach flavor was the best 🍑 Stewed tripe and beef platter with spicy sauce and cilantro sauce, very delicious. Famous shop's affogato ☕ Handed over through a small window in the wall. It has a fancy name, but it's just a snow-topped coffee, too sweet. Panini sandwich with crispy focaccia bread and refreshing ingredients. Just after eating, the "ceiling" hurts a bit, it's a bit hard. Ordered an inferno and a paradiso. Only halfway through did I realize, one is hell and one is paradise. --- The night train back was faster than the one coming. I think it's because my soul is light as a feather. A part of me stayed in Florence. Maybe it's embedded in the patterns of the Florence Cathedral, Or maybe it fell into the Arno River at dusk. Or perhaps it was all a dream, Because I've already turned to stone in front of Medusa, Becoming another piece in the museum's collection.、 #Florence
