The Largest Holiday Light Event in Western Massachusetts ✨

Springfield is truly a treasure trove for family outings. I’m always happy to visit here. During the day, there are various museums to explore, and at night, there’s Bright Nights, an event that’s perfect for the whole family, filled with festive vibes. It’s a great way to unwind without having to go outside, and both adults and kids absolutely love it 😍 🎉 Bright Nights at Forest Park is the largest holiday light display in Western Massachusetts, just about a 1.5-hour drive from Boston. Driving through a 3-mile tunnel of lights, you’re surrounded by a dreamy array of holiday-themed decorations. The light themes combine Christmas holidays with Springfield’s local culture, including: 📚 Dr. Seuss Village: A tribute to Dr. Seuss, who was born in Springfield, the iconic children’s book author. 🏞️ Victorian Village: A recreation of Victorian-era street scenes. 🏰 Barney Mansion: A light replica of a historic Springfield landmark. 🎅 North Pole Village: A Santa Claus-themed wonderland. The entire drive takes about 20-30 minutes without stopping. There are designated areas to stop, with family-friendly rides like a carousel for the little ones, and food stalls offering hot chocolate and doughnuts 🍫🍩 #WinterTravelBucketList #BostonFamilyOutings #AroundBoston #Springfield
